POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Do you have a Miniature horse who loves people? Or a dog, gecko, parrot, bunny, or cat? We'd love to have you and your pet bring joy to our animal-loving residents through weekly visits!
DELIVERABLE/DUTIES:
Visit one on one, engage the elderly with your pet, report to staff any feedback info on the visit,have fun watching the difference your pet will make to an isolated senior!
QUALIFICATIONS:
A patient, caring, respectful attitude is required to interact in this role. Also, your animal must be screened by the Northern Alberta Pet Therapy Association (the cost will be reimbursed), and an annual veterinarian report must be provided concerning vaccination updates and medical history.
