Each One, Teach One – Volunteer with Ethos Literacy

Ethos Literacy is seeking volunteers to support adult learners in New Mexico. This is a great opportunity to help those looking to improve their reading, writing, math, or English language skills—especially adults entering or re-entering the workforce.

No teaching experience is required. Volunteers receive full training.

Ways to Help as a Tutor
– Improve reading and writing skills
– Teach English as a Second Language (ESL)
– Support with basic math
– Help develop computer literacy
– Build general knowledge skills

Not interested in tutoring? Other ways to support include:
– Board membership
– Fundraising
– Grant writing
– Outreach and event support

Details
– Virtual opportunity with flexible hours
– Weekdays and weekends, daytime or evening
– Time commitment for tutors: 2–4 hours per week
– Other roles vary in time commitment
– Must be at least 18
– Background check and brief interview required
