Scrutineers is seeking an experienced administrative professional to assist our executive team with organizational workflow, schedule coordination, drafting of correspondence, note taking, and other key administrative tasks as assigned. This person will report directly to the Volunteer Coordinator. This is a 100% volunteer position that will involve a commitment of 5 hours per week, completed remotely. Students or professionals that want or require additional volunteer hours may increase their commitment if they would like.


What We’re Looking For


Highly organized and creative self starter with a flexible, "can do" attitude
Experience maintaining digital filing systems
Experience taking real-time meeting notes and/or creating high level meeting summaries without use of AI
Excellent written and verbal communication, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
The ability to consistently offer our organization 5 hours of your time per week
Experience with CRMs and productivity tools such as Trello is a plus
Experience with Canva and social media is a plus
Passion for protecting our democracy and helping a small non-profit grow more sustainably

Scrutineers is a non-partisan organization centering our work on election protection. It is our mission to mobilize our members around activities that help make local, state, and national elections more transparent, accurate, and accessible for all voters.


While you may be familiar with work that protects citizens’ right to vote, which is incredibly important, you may not know that there is an entire sector of electoral work that is focused on the votes themselves.
