Are you a veteran?

Gentiva Hospice is looking for veterans who will volunteer for veterans who have a terminal illness and are probably in their last year of life. Vets understand other vets, which is why we are pairing them together. We want to make sure our veteran hospice patients can get the best support possible and have an opportunity to be honored in a pinning ceremony. Veteran volunteers can be a part of our veteran pinning ceremonies where we thank veterans for their service and give them a pin and a certificate, celebrate, and allow any vets present to tell their story. The veterans who are pinned are so grateful; the pinning means a lot to them and expresses our appreciation for all they have sacrificed.
