About the Role:
As a Grant Administrator, volunteers will play a pivotal role in securing funding for Better Days Foundation's programs. Responsibilities include researching funding sources, completing grant applications, and generating innovative ideas to support programs and campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct research on available funding sources in Canada
Maintain a database of funding opportunities and deadlines
Complete grant applications accurately and on time
Generate creative ideas for program funding
Collaborate with team members as needed
Skill Set and Experience:
1-3 years of grant-related experience in nonprofit funding
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Canadian funding mechanisms and potential for international opportunities
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and contractual agreements
