Description
The NOAHH (Neighbors Offering A Helping Hand) Program matches needs of clients in the county with items in the community. A county worker contacts the coordinator with a client need. The coordinator then reaches out to the NOAHH partner network with the need. The NOAHH partners then spread the word among their organization to fill the need. Once the item is located, The partner alerts the coordinator who will then work to get the item from the donor to the family. Frequently requested items include beds, furniture, household items, appliances, etc. Sometimes donors purchase new items but often a requested item can be found by donations from people who no longer need it themselves.
