Volunteers are needed to help landscape and maintain the pollinator gardens around the Charleston Farms Community Center (1633 Sumner Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406). These gardens provide essential flowers and plants for the survival of our local pollinator population along with being an example garden for the community to learn and enjoy.

Volunteer tasks include: gardening, spreading mulch, weeding, cutting back plants, installing cardboard as weed barrier, and other beautification related tasks.

No prior experience needed, training will be provided to all volunteers. KNCB will provide all of the tools and supplies needed.

This is an ongoing opportunity that can be scheduled flexibly to work with your schedule during the week (Monday-Thursday) between the hours 7am-3:30pm. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call 843-745-1073 or email kncbsc@gmail.com.
