Participate in fundraising efforts for the organization.

About the Preeclampsia Foundation:

Established in 2000, the Preeclampsia Foundation is the only national 501(c)(3) not-for-profit patient advocacy organization dedicated to serving pregnant women affected by hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, including preeclampsia, eclampsia, and HELLP syndrome. The Foundation works closely with a medical board composed of leading experts in the field, as well as other nonprofit organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and corporations, to achieve its mission of improving outcomes for women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Purpose and Vision:

The Foundation's purpose is to improve the outcomes of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy through community education, support, and engagement, enhancing healthcare practices, and striving for a cure. Their ultimate vision is a world where preeclampsia no longer poses a threat to the lives of mothers and babies.

Preeclampsia Foundation Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the Preeclampsia Foundation. It is composed of national experts from various fields, including healthcare, maternal health, healthcare policy, business, nonprofit management, technology, and law. Board members generously volunteer their time and expertise to guide the strategic direction of the Foundation and its mission. While many have personal or family experiences with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, it is not a requirement for all members.
