Do you want to promote yourself in front of live audiences?  We need a "front person" to excite people about our mission and our work. Do you want to be our spokesperson, while promoting your own career - possibly in music or entertaining?  This job could be PERFECT for you! 

World Hunger Team is a 13 year-old 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This is a VOLUNTEER position. We are seeking a Director Of Promotions to be the 'face and voice' of our mission. Our Founder & CEO needs to get in front of church groups to solicit volunteers and donors.  You can find out about our work in Uganda as well as here in the States, by visiting our website. 

The PRIMARY FOCUS of our organization is to create and distribute SYSTEMS to grow food in places where little to no food is grown now.  We have an "Indoor Community Garden" program whereby volunteers can grow food in their community center, church, school, and even abandoned or empty buildings. Plus, we support two orphanage / church communities in Uganda. 

This is a PART-TIME position and unfortunately there is NO compensation at this time, other that out-of-pocket costs.  

Responsibilities:

Contact churches, social and fraternal groups in the Nashville area to set up speaking engagements for our President

Network with other social groups to generate interest in our work

Coordinate with our fundraising director to implement giving plans

Coordinate with our  social media director to promote the speaking events in advance??????

Help us produce marketing materials and advertising campaigns to promote our events

Qualifications:

BIG personality that loves to entertain audiences

Compassion for our cause

Flexible part-time work schedule.  You will only need a few spare hours every few weeks to promote our events and be the M.C. to get the crowd interested and involved

Age / gender / experience not as important as heart.
