Chipembere Community Development Organization (CCDO)is a local Malawian NGO registered with Malawi Government and work in partners with MSH(USA) Malawi Scotland partnership, Civil society Nutrition Alliance just to mention a few.
We are appealing to heartfelt volunteers who may wish to CCDO to uplift the well-being of the marginalized children in Thyolo Southern part of Malawi.
Primary job description:
Developing ,implementing and monitoring fundraising strategies, that includes yearly targets to meet the targets.
Duties of the fundraising officer(volunteer).
Developing ,implementing, and monitoring a resource mobilization strategy for the CCDO that includes annual action plans and budgets.
Identify and maintaining existing potential donors ,funders and sponsors.
Developing project proposal to potential donors including companies and philanthropic organizations strategic plan.
Organization fundraising activities such as dinner dance,big walks, and sports festivals.
Facilitating co financing opportunities with partner organizations.
Marketing CCDO in Malawi and abroad.
Supporting the documentation and dissemination of CCDO best practices.
Strategic positioning of CCDO to funding opportunities , and donors.
Required qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields:
Social Science, Humanities or Media and Development studies.
Proven 5 years of past performance successful fundraising and grant application including proposal writing.
