Ironstone Farm relies on volunteers to make their therapeutic riding programs a success. These programs provide a safe and structured environment for clients, and volunteers play a crucial role in assisting therapists and instructors during each riding session. Without the help of volunteers, Ironstone Farm would not be able to offer these programs.

Volunteers work alongside therapists and instructors to lead or walk alongside horses, groom and tack them, and offer guidance and support to clients. Other tasks may also be requested as needed, and there is always something to do on the farm!

Ironstone Farm needs volunteers on Mondays through Saturdays during the morning, afternoon, and early evenings. No horse experience is necessary, and individuals as young as thirteen years old are welcome to apply. To become a volunteer, interested individuals must submit a volunteer application, which can be found on the farm's website or requested via email.
