Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of underserved youth in Philadelphia? Art Sphere Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 1998 to engage communities and heal the mind, body, and spirit through the arts, is currently seeking volunteers to help us achieve our mission.
As a volunteer researcher for Art Sphere Inc., you will have the opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to research information for our web pages and lesson plans. You will play a crucial role in helping us provide engaging arts experiences to the community.
Responsibilities include gathering and compiling information, formatting information for easy use by writers, designers, and teachers, and conducting efficient search methods while paying attention to detail and note-taking. The current project involves researching artists who have contributed to popular music and inspired other famous artists.
To qualify for this role, you should be able to volunteer for a minimum of three hours per week for at least ten weeks. You should also possess research skills, be able to manage self-guided work, and have access to technology to meet virtually.
