Join the taste of science community in San Antonio as a volunteer! taste of science is a national organization dedicated to making science accessible to non-specialist audiences, with a focus on adults. As a volunteer, you'll be helping to organize events that connect your local community with the exciting and valuable research being carried out at institutions in San Antonio.

We're looking for passionate and hardworking individuals to fill various roles, including speaker liaison, funding manager, event coordinators, social media manager, publicity managers, and web manager. Whether you're interested in finding event venues, connecting with scientists, scheduling, seeking sponsorship and donations, or advertising our events to the local community, we have a role for you.

As a volunteer, you'll gain valuable experience in science communication, networking, project management, and social media presence. And, you'll be helping to break down the notion that science is inaccessible and carried out in the ivory tower.
