Chipembere Community Development Organization is a local Malawian NGO,Currently we are being funded by management sciences for health (MSH) We are currently appealing haertfelt volunteers to work for vulnerable children in Malawi-Thyolo.
Duties of the volunteers to be hosted:
1.Developing ,implementing,and monitoring a resource mobilization strategy for the organization that includes annual action plans and budgets.2.Developing project proposals to potential donors including companies and philanthropic organizations .3.Organizing fundraising activities such as dinner dances,big walks and sports festivals.4.Facilitating co-financing opportunities with partner organizations.5.Marketing CCDO in Malawi and abroad.6.Supporting the documentation and dissemination of CCDO best practices.7.Strategic positioning of CCDO to funding opportunities,donors and sponsor.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in one of the following field:social science, Humanities,or media &Development studies.
Proven 5 years past performance successful fundraising and grant application including proposal writing.
Benefits:Free accommodation, free local foods such as rice, banana ,chicken and domestic helper,financial benefits will depend on volunteer's capability.Financial benefits will include : monthly allowance and all benefits required for international volunteers.Period is between 6-1year
