This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and as a Technology Project Leader: Web Analytics, you are required to contribute a minimum of 8 hours per week.
Project Leaders could be required to take care of any ad-hoc work related to their domain/experience/project management, proper guidance/review will be provided to complete any ad-hoc request. Technology Project Leader: Web Analytics must be willing to attend the meeting in EST Timezone and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
STW(tm) will provide a "letter of recommendation" to interns, students & professionals who are able to showcase outstanding performance for school/university credit and for professional references.

Save the Water(tm) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to conduct water research to identify and remove harmful contaminants in water, and to raise public awareness about water contamination and its health impacts. STW (tm) also offers educational programs to excite young minds about water science.

The Role:

Support the Technology Group by managing a team of volunteers in the area of web analytics by creating monthly SEO reports and delegating the work for the Associate SEO Analysts.
What you will be responsible for......

Manage on average 2-3 volunteers within the Web Analytics team, holding them accountable for their work.
Plan and conduct weekly team and project-related meetings, including sending agenda, taking meeting minutes, and follow up.
Provide a monthly SEO report to Vice Presidents and Directors, including, but not limited to:
Crawlability
Rankability
Content Marketing
Usability & Conversion Optimization
Measurability
Keep a timesheet minimum on a weekly basis.
Complete the timesheet audit for the Associate Level and interns each month.
Report to Associate Director for the given project team.
Manages and delegate the work for the Technology Associate: Web Analytics and Interns, as assigned by the Associate Director of Technology or the Director of Technology.
Propose new metrics and improvements to monthly SEO report.
Contribute to user experience best practices and act as an experienced evangelist to the organization.
Attend team meetings as scheduled in the EST time zone.
Create and manage SOP and policies for the Web Analytics Team.
Create and manage the Project Plan and deliverables for projects.

Strong understanding of advertising, marketing, and strategic brand management and how these relate to web analytics.
Strong understanding or experience in Agile Project Management and the project management lifecycle.
Must have at least one of the following: * 3+ years of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager skills and configured/customized it in some demonstrable capacity
3+ years of project management experience in an area related to analytics & understanding of web analytics basics: tags, cookies, variables
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
Requires self-direction, flexibility, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
The ability and strong desire to think analytically, to be able to identify and solve problems through data analysis.
The ability to summarize and present analytical findings clearly and concisely.
Bachelor's degree completed or equivalent work experience (at least 3 years or more full time paid corporate/non - profit work experience).
