Chipembere Community Development Organization(CCDO) is local Malawian NGO based in Thyolo Southern part of Malawian.CCDO is member of Council for Non Governmental Organizations in Malawi(CONGOMA) ,Malawi Scotland Partnership(MaSP), African of Palliative Care Association(APCA) , GLOBAL Coalition For Social Protection Floors,and work hand in hand with UNICEF, Ministry of health, ministry women child development and community development and Malamulo Mission Hospital.Currently CCDO is working on project called:Accelerating Children's HIV/AIDS treatment initiative (ACT) with financial assistance from Management Sciences for Health(MSH) USA.
About the Project ACT project.
With funding from MSH Chipembere is implementing the Accelerating Children's~HIV/AIDS treatment (ACT)initiative.The project aims at reducing overall population morbidity and mortality with an emphasis on improving the quality of HIV prevention ,treatment,care and support services by increasing the effectiveness,sustainability,equity,and efficiency of district based planning, budgeting,and implementation.The program is supporting evidence based prevention,care and treatment interventions at the facility level.It is also delivering targeted capacity building assistance which includes clinical and health systems mentoring and coaching.
With that background Chipembere is appealing to heartfelt volunteers who can be hosted at its head office in Thyolo.The volunteers will be tasked to fund raise for the sustainability of its programs and projects.This is challenging posts that requires dedication and hardworking posts.You will be required to find raise from UNDP UNAIDS, UNFPA,EU,UNICEF ,CIDA DUN CHURCH AID,DEVELOPMENT FUND OF NORWAY and other local and international funding agencies.fringe benefits and other benefits will depend on your capability.You will be offered free accommodation, local food,maximum security.You will be tasked to design 2-3 years projects that will change well-being of underprivileged children in Malawi.Please !feel in your heart to work with marginalized children in Malawi.
