FAM (Families Assistance Ministries) provides healthy food to residents of South Orange County daily. Our trucks rescue food from local stores. Our job is to rescue, inspect, and sort it so that we can prepare it for our clients who are working through their plans to become self-reliant. Duties for this position include driving FAM trucks to local store partners to rescue food, lifting food boxes in and out of the truck, and you must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs. We do require one driver and one co-pilot (navigator) on every grocery rescue route. This is the perfect opportunity to not only serve your community, but to make new friends as well!
