The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers and staff whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life for people living with the disease.

We are working toward our mission by funding the most promising cancer research, offering a variety of support services to people living with cancer, educating all Canadians on cancer prevention and early detection and advocating for healthy public policies.

Help raise funds for important cancer research and programs by volunteering at the Yellowhead Casino, July 1st and 2nd 2016!

A variety of positions and shifts are available, including:

Count Room Worker

• Sorters, counters, recorders, and amalgamators count the cash from drop boxes collected from the table games. At least one volunteer should have cash handling skills. Volunteers must be adept with their hands. Recorder assists the Count Room Supervisor recording information into the Casino Track computer system.
• Meals are provided for volunteers.

Shifts available are:

• July 1st & 2nd: 10:30 pm - 3:30 am (2 Volunteers each night)
