Training Part one: Tuesday, November 4th, 4:30 - 6:30pm
Training Part two: Thursday, November 6th, 4:30 - 6:30pm
Canopy’s classroom education programs provide hands-on outdoor activities that spark kids’ curiosity about trees and nature.
This two-part workshop will prepare you to volunteer as an Education Leader with Canopy, exploring the wonderful world of trees through hands-on science lessons with elementary and middle school students.
We will be joined by two local experts who specialize in experiential education. Topics covered include teaching methodology, cultural sensitive, and 3 of Canopy’s unique education modules.
