Description
In response to the wildfires in the Wood Buffalo region, the University of Alberta has been working with the government to accommodate evacuees in Lister Centre. Over the next few weeks, a large number of volunteers will be needed throughout the day for the following two roles:

Dining Services: This volunteer position involves various tasks in the cafeteria such as greeting guests, serving food or handing out special meals.

Community Liaisons: This volunteer position may involve interacting directly with the community, folding laundry, helping in the kitchen and other specific tasks that will be assigned when you arrive for your shift.

If you wish to volunteer to assist evacuees who are being housed at Lister Centre, please sign-up via the link below.

You are welcome and encouraged to share this volunteer opportunity with your family, friends and networks.

Remember to submit your offer to help on GozAround in addition to completing the online application to track your hours.
