This opportunity is with the physical health/fitness department of the Guiding The Wise wellness platform. This program administers several preventative health services, interactive fitness classes, coaching and many more services that contribute to the well being of our members. Coordinators will report to our Medical Directors and Operations Manager. This program is currently seeking four enthusiastic interns/volunteers to assist the Program Manager.

Interns can create their own schedule but must include the following requirements:
*Interns must work a minimum of 2 days per week
*Interns must work a minimum of 8 hours per week during operating hours (Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm EST)
Intern Requirements and Qualifications:
*Enrolled in an accredited university/college (Preferred)
*Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
*Must be 18 years of age or older
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Self-directed and able to work without supervision
*Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas *Ability to communicate effectively in writing and to prepare written and electronic documents.
*Ability to communicate orally, both in person and by telephone.
*Ability to establish rapport with others as a requisite for professional relationships.
*We'd prefer students that are currently seeking a degree or career in public health, health science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, personal training, and fitness instructing.
*Assists the program manager with the development and management of the physical health/fitness program.
*Assists with staffing/contracting and minor administrative projects.
*Leads community engagement and awareness projects.
*Assists with physical health/fitness content (Write 1 article per month)
*Conducts intake interviews and one-on-one accountability coaching with clients.
*Develops exercise/fitness workout plans and records a demonstration of each plan. This will be reviewed by the Medical Board and presented to clients if it meets our standards.
