The ongoing pandemic has affected vulnerable communities, exacerbating the language barrier and other challenges to medical care faced by limited English proficiency (LEP) patients. Vocalize Columbus is striving to expand access to important interpretation services by recruiting volunteer medical interpreters to provide services for free and charitable clinics in Ohio. Our service is language neutral - we welcome support in all languages from those experienced in medical interpretation. We are in the process of recruiting volunteers for remote (video) medical interpretation.
