Trail signs help keep people safe by ensuring that they remain on their intended path. The Mount Rogers Appalachian Trail Club needs your help installing trail signs at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 30.



All are welcome to join in on a fun day of installing signs while work alongside fellow volunteers. The day will include an approximately 5-mile round-trip hike to Rhododendron Gap, digging post holes, and putting up new way-finding signs at confusing trail intersections. Enjoy a light work out and a fun day on the Appalachian Trail as an A.T. volunteer helping to keep visitors on their intended path.
