Hospitality Volunteer
We’re looking for someone with strong oral communication skills that has a warm personality to welcome FNVW event attendees and provide them with concise, useful information about the event. This volunteer will also get the word out about FNVW social and fundraising events.
Responsibilities:
Calling members of the FNVW community to share event invitations, updates and reminders
Greeting people at FNVW social and fundraising events
Following up after events with participants
Making calls to people registered for our events to provide additional information and to confirm attendance
Ensuring that people at events are signed in and that contact information is readable
Directing people to correct spots at events (both internal rooms, and externally directing people from parking lots, etc)
Training and Support
Orientation to the organization and programs
Orientation provided for specific hospitality projects
Ongoing collaboration with FNVW staff and volunteers
Time Commitment
2-15 hours a month
1 year commitment
Work is primarily done at event locations and FNVW office. Flexible work location for some assignments.
