Join HealthStart Foundation this summer as we bring our signature Snack Science Children's Health Education Workshops back. HealthStart's Snack Science Summer Camp will be held from June 21st to August 4th at 4 HACA (Housing Authority of the City of Austin) locations. Children will learn how to take care of their bodies, minds, and communities while listening to a story, doing a science experiment / physical activity / social-emotional activity, and making a delicious, healthy snack.

Volunteers will assist in workshop setup, activities on-site, management of the children, food distribution, and other duties as assigned. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in healthcare, fitness, wellness, or child development (or just someone looking for a way to give back to the community). Volunteers will need to have a background check (provided by HealthStart Foundation).
