The American Red Cross Northern Ohio Region is hosting a Become a Red Cross Health & Mental Volunteer Information Session on Thursday, February 24th from 12:00-1:00 PM (EST). Health and Mental Health professionals, please join us to hear from Red Cross Disaster Health Volunteer Lead, Kevin Sauer and Cathy Netter, Disaster Mental Health Co-Lead Volunteer. They will share their volunteer experience, the qualifications for the role and the services provided to meet the individual disaster health and mental health care needs of clients.

You will also learn about the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces Adult Reconnection Workshop Facilitator volunteer, licensed mental health professionals holding a master's degree, serving in this role to provide Reconnection Workshop modules to military, veterans and their families.

The Disaster Health, Mental Health and Service to the Armed Forces Adult Reconnection Workshop Facilitator volunteer positions are Hybrid and offer virtual engagement in the role. Volunteer shift scheduling is flexible to meet your availability for an on-call and scheduled volunteer commitment. Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and submission of vaccine status and supporting documentation in Volunteer Connection if participating in in-person activities and/or performing work in a Red Cross facility.
