Hairpin Arts Center
MISSION STATEMENT
Our organization was created to empower, engage, and transform our communities through the arts. Our previous events have given artists a chance to showcase their artwork and eradicate the notion of a starving artist.
Chicago’s Hairpin Arts Center provides opportunities for students make way into a nonprofit for the arts and learn essential skills through hands-on experiences. The skills you will gain from volunteering with Hairpin Arts Center will prepare you for a future in the arts by giving you the practice of marketing, branding, promotion, and an opportunity to harness your ongoing skills. Hairpin Arts Center has the resources to curate professional events, so why not be apart of them?
From marketing development, to volunteer coordination, to designing professional fliers, to single camera event coverage, Hairpin Arts Center is the place to get hands on experience. Committee Member opportunities range from positions such brand management, camera operators, being an editor, and attending meetings: voting on decisions to project Hairpin Arts Center forward.
