Do you enjoy being outdoors? Want to learn about plants, gardening or wildlife, or share skills you already possess? Our garden volunteers assist the Arboretum's horticulture staff with day to day tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, watering, leaf raking, trail maintenance, plant sales, event set-up and tear-down.

Have a particular interest? Join the Monday morning Herb Garden group; become a Forest Steward; or focus on a particular garden of area such as the Shale Barren or the Monarch Waystation. Or tell us about your skills & interests and we'll try to find a place for you.

As COVID restrictions ease we will restart tours & education programs. If you have an interest in helping in this area in the future, do let us know.
