Description
Bike MS is the fundraising cycling series of the National MS Society and raises more money than any other cycling event for any other cause. To date, Bike MS cyclists, volunteers, and donors have raised more than $1.3 billion to stop MS in its tracks, restore what's been lost, and end MS forever. By virtually volunteering, you can be a part of this growing movement!

Our Bike MS: Valero Ride to the River event’s fundraising deadline is coming up in December. So our team is needing some assistance on Giving Tuesday to help remind the participants of the deadline and encourage them to use the charity-focused day to make a final fundraising push.

There are 50 participants that we are hoping to target over the course of the day. We don’t want any volunteer to have to make more than 10 calls, so we need at a minimum 5 more individuals to help us with this project. Of course, we would love to have more than 5 helping hands and would be happy to distribute the numbers accordingly should that be the case. We will definitely provide you with a script for conversations over the phone and any voicemails you may need to leave. We will also equip you with an FAQ sheet so that you are prepared to answer any questions that may come up.

If this is something you would be interested in, please let me know. I will then provide you with the necessary resources the day before so you are equipped to start making calls on Giving Tuesday. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out. I can be contacted via phone at 713-394-2931 or via email at andrew.davis2@nmss.org.
