Description
Volunteer Grocery Shoppers buy and deliver groceries for people who cannot shop for themselves. Being a Volunteer Grocery Shopper can be a rewarding experience as you’ll be meeting our clients and directly experiencing the difference you are making in their lives.

Each Volunteer Grocery Shopper will be matched with a client in a particular area of the city based on the preferred location. The volunteer will shop for the client based on the list provided. After delivering the groceries volunteers may help clients with the shelving of the groceries. Volunteers often take some time with each client to check in, catch-up and see how they are doing in general. In some cases, the interaction with the Volunteer Grocery Shopper may be the only socialization the client has all day. These short visits go a long way in helping to reduce loneliness and isolation.
