Description
We are looking for volunteer for our upcoming walk in Edmonton on Saturday September 26th at William Hawrelak Park. Our walk, called Light the Night is an evening walk that friends, families and coworkers walk in unity and raise money to fund vital patient support services, advocacy and lifesaving blood cancer research across Canada.
Our walk includes a variety of roles such as Registration Volunteers who work with participants who are dropping off funds and provide participants with their various incentives, Lantern Tent Volunteers who help set up the different colored lanterns and distribute them to participants, and Walk Marshal Volunteers who help guide participants through the course. Accounting volunteers are also needed to help process donations during the evening.
