About the Position

As Internship Coordination Team Lead, you will be responsible for liaising between departments at Dweebs Global and our recruitment team, creating intern activities, and overseeing/organizing all internships.

About Us

Dweebs Global (www.dweebsglobal.org) is a non-profit foundation created to help the pressing needs of those affected economically and mentally all over the world in these trying times. Working alongside trained and vetted mental health professionals, career counsellors, and domain experts, our organization provides one-on-one mentorship, advice and counselling absolutely FREE, without any barriers, via video conferencing and other means.

Overview of Role

Help teams set up internship programs.
Organize internship seminars/brown bag lunches.
Match each intern with a one-on-one mentor.
Interview each intern to figure out how best to support them in their careers.
Recruit interns to stay on as volunteers.

Requirements

Good communication and organizational skills.
Good leadership skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.
Ideally, a commitment of 3-5 hours per week for a minimum of 1 year.
