Edmonton Meals on Wheels is a local non-profit agency that provides home delivered meal services to a diverse mix of people. We’re well known for our quality customer service, excellent meals, and creative and innovative strategies that engage the community in various events, partnerships and volunteer opportunities.

Position Summary:
Volunteer Delivery Drivers are needed in the Millwoods area. These volunteers deliver nutritious meals and groceries to people who cannot prepare adequate meals or shop for themselves. These volunteers have the most interaction with our clients. Because of this, the majority of volunteers in this position find it to be very rewarding. This position is available weekdays between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age
Must have own vehicle, must have valid license with clean driver’s abstract
Must be willing to submit to a criminal records check and carry liability insurance
Strong customer service skills
Able to climb stairs
Able to lift up to 20lbs
