Diabetes Canada has partnered up with Marda Gras Street Festival, a family-friendly event in the streets of Marda Loop on August 12th, 2018! Marda Gras will have live music, performances, great food and most importantly, booths from community organizations including Diabetes Canada!
How can you help?! We are looking for volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets, provide practical and accessible information that is helpful and meaningful to those stopping by, and overall man our information booth. This will be an excellent opportunity for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to provide their support to the community, while working collaboratively with the Community Engagement team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sell 50/50 tickets
• Monitor the information table and ensuring cleanliness of work space
• Assist with the DC information booth by delivering practical and accessible information helpful to the community
• Provide general event support
