Description
The Centre for Refugee Resilience is looking for volunteers!

If you are looking for a great experience working with refugee families, this is your Volunteer program! We are a strengths-based program that offers holistic support and friendship to refugees on their road from trauma to healing.

You will have the opportunity to:
• Provide practical and social support and assistance to individuals and refugee families.
• Visit assigned individual/family once a week for a one year commitment.
• Flexible hours: time is independently arranged through volunteer's and family’s availability.
• Communicate with program staff on a regular basis to update on client needs, volunteer-client weekly meetings, etc.

The Centre for Refugee Resilience (CRR) is part of the comprehensive support CCIS provides to new immigrants.

If you have any questions or would like to apply, please contact Rubirose Ong at rong@ccisab.ca.
