Silver State Fair Housing Council is a non-profit organization that serves the entire state of Nevada. Our mission is to ensure equal housing opportunity for all residents of the state. We provide fair housing information, resources and helps community members file housing discrimination complaints with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The federal Fair Housing Act makes it illegal to discriminate in the provision of housing or any housing related service because of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status and disabilities.
