About
Hi, I am the volunteer coordinator at The Community Kitchen Program of Calgary. We are considered Calgary's second largest food bank. We believe in giving a "hand up" as opposed to a "hand out" and have many programs structured to support individuals and families dealing with food insecurity. We work to reduce hunger by promoting healthy food choices and enabling the community to educate, equip and feed themselves. Many of our programs are supported by our cherished volunteers and we could not do what we do without them!
