Gentiva Hospice is looking for caring and reliable volunteers to visit patients at Helia Healthcare Skilled Nursing Facility in Yorkville. Volunteers serve as “Patient Friends,” offering companionship, conversation, and a comforting presence to those nearing the end of life.

Details:
- Visit 2–3 times per month
- Spend at least 30 minutes with each patient
- No medical experience needed – just your time and heart
- Must be at least 18 and able to drive
- Full training and ongoing support provided
- start with one patient...add more later (if desired)
