Hunger Fight is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that addresses hunger, food insecurity, and illiteracy in our neighborhoods and communities. Hunger Fight facilitates packing events where participants assemble and package meals which are distributed to Title-One students, backpack feeding programs, and food pantries. We need volunteers to help our staff run these events. Some duties would include:

training tables,
refilling ingredients,
setup,
clean-up, and
encouraging fun and excitement.
The ideal volunteers would be able to stand and walk for 3-4 hours at a time. Some lifting is necessary but any heavy lifting can be done as a team.
Our packing events are considered two hours of controlled chaos. We play music and have fun. Our small staff of 9 people desperately needs help with packing events.
