Looking for like minded people, that have a compassionate heart for disabled animals.

Must be able to commit to one day a week the same day every week.
The volunteer tasks primarily consist of cleaning our animal residents’ living areas. This means shoveling and scooping lots of poop, scrubbing water bowls/troughs and filling them, sweeping areas, replacing bedding, and other related tasks. We need help year round, rain or shine, so please be prepared!
You must have own transportation.
Tasks include lifting & bending.
We ask that you only apply if you are truly committed and interested in volunteering. It takes a significant amount of time to train new volunteers. Those are precious hours that are taken away caring from our animal residents.
As we invest time and energy into your training, we ask that you invest time and energy as well.
Additionally, i f you are interested in offering other talents to help support us, such as fundraising, taking high-quality photos or videos of our animals for social media, and promoting the farm and it's mission please let us know on the application.

Age Restrictions

For safety and liability purposes, all volunteers must be at 18 years of age.

Volunteering Tips

Boots are a must. No sandals/sneakers. Clothing is likely to get dirty, so keep that in mind when deciding what to wear. Work gloves are also a great idea if you have them available. If you will be here for the day please feel free to pack a lunch or bring a snack. We always have water available in the fridge.

If you feel that you would make a great addition, are physically fit, and want to spend quality time helping with the well being of our animal residents then please contact us.

Animal Caregiver Typical volunteer activities include mucking barns and coops, raking, and pasture cleaning. Other cleaning duties may include restocking hay/straw, cleaning/organizing areas, etc. Many of the animals will visit you while you complete your tasks but please remember that some tasks might not include much animal interaction. Volunteering is physically intensive, so expect to get a good workout! 3+ hour shift
