Check our latest %23volunteer opportunity: Remote Grant Application Reviewer Opportunity / MINNESOTA STATE ARTS BOARD via%20%40GozAround
The Minnesota State Arts Board seeks qualified volunteers to review either Creative Support for Individuals, Creative Support for Organizations, and Operating Support grant program applications remotely, serving a five-week term during June 2022-May 2023.
Reviewers:
read, score, and take notes on applications online using WebGrants system during an assigned five-week term;*
attend a panel meeting remotely to discuss the applications;
can expect to spend, on average, 30 hours total;**
receive a modest financial stipend to compensate for their time and expertise providing constructive feedback;
play a crucial role in the grant making process as their scores help determine which applications will be recommended to the board for approval; and in doing so;
advance the Arts Board's mission to stimulate and encourage the creation, performance and appreciation of the arts in the state.
* Reviewers will be assigned to review teams based on their availability during the grant review period schedule.
** The time commitment this year is expected to be significantly less than in previous Arts Board grant cycles. Application requirements and scoring have been simplified.
