Description
Manatee History Day (MHD) is the local affiliate of National History Day (NHD), a nationwide contest designed to interest students in history and encourage them to learn about history through primary research. Historical papers, documentaries, exhibit boards, websites, and performances are the five kinds of entries that are accepted for competition. Through research and analysis of their information, students make the past come alive!

This year's competition is VIRTUAL. All student projects will be submitted virtually and judged virtually. Judge evaluation sheets can be completed any time from the comfort of home within the competition window of January 28th through February 4th. Judge's will also receive a digital, self-paced training guide.

If you are interested in participating in this opportunity please reach out directly to history.day@manateeclerk.com.
