The IDSGT Foundation has launched a senior chat line called GoldenTALK where seniors can call to simply chat, and also can obtain resources if needed.

Now that seniors have been asked to self-isolate due to Covid-19, the chat line is needed more than ever to keep seniors connected to their communities and to assist if help is needed.

GoldenTALK volunteers will answer calls via their smartphone through our app. They will also log the calls into an online database. There are also opportunities to make outbound calls for those seniors or family members who have requested wellness checks via phone.

We have a separate opportunity for weekends. Bi-lingual volunteers are needed!
