Join the fight!

Volunteering with the Canadian Cancer Society is a great opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life while fulfilling your own. By joining our team, you will help us continue to lead the fight against all cancers and give hope to people living with the disease.

The Daffodil Campaign is a month long event in April when Canadians unite in wearing the Daffodil pin or purchasing fresh cut daffodils to show support for people living with cancer and remember loved ones ultimately taken by the disease. Funds raised through the Daffodil Campaign will make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer by helping to build community awareness for cancer research, cancer prevention, and support for the Society’s programs and services.

The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with the 2015 Daffodil Campaign in communities across Alberta and the Northwest Territories!

We will need event day volunteers during the month of April to help with our Live Flower Campaign and Daffodil Pin Campaign. A variety of times and locations are available. Volunteer positions include:
• Area Team Captains
• Volunteer Coordinators
• Flower Sales Representatives
• Flower Wrappers
• Flower Delivery Drivers
• Pin Sales Representatives
• Pin Delivery Drivers
• Door to Door Pin Distribution
• Door to Door Pin Campaign Coordinator

If you are interested in a leadership volunteer role, we are also looking for volunteers to lead and prepare various aspects of the campaign from January to April:

• Event Planning Committee Members
• Rural Daffodil Campaign Coordinators
