The Smarty Scholars 2021 Summer Program. Smarty Scholars provides free college readiness and test prep services to high-need students. Our program kicks off June 28 and goes through Aug 20 for 8 weeks.

We need volunteer tutors to provide 1-on-1 homework help for one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for a minimum of 2 hours a week for one student. Homework consists of practice SAT problems on our practice platform Smarty Prep. The tutoring commitment would fall in the 9-2:30 window.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, students participate in 90-minute 6-on-1 classes with an SAT tutor. While small group classes are helpful, 1-on-1 is the most effective tutoring method. Volunteer tutors will provide the targeted, individual help many students need on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
