Zakat Foundation of America has given out over 2000 handmade cards in the last few months to various Assisted Living Centers,
and still have a waiting list of centers waiting to receive more.

You can sign up to make sets of ten cards for various dates and places. As for what goes on the cards, you can be as creative as you'd like and use whatever you have: glitter, paint, colored pencils, stickers, sequins, scrapbook paper, etc) We are currently focusing on making cards for seniors, so on the cards there should be uplifting, encouraging, and cheerful messages to put a smile on their faces!

Some guidelines:

**Use card stock instead of construction/printer paper for the base

**Take your time; they should be cards made with love

**If you are having kids make the cards, make sure there is adult supervision and look through all the cards one last time before sending them in to us

**Be Creative

**Do not put them in envelopes.
