Screening Officers are responsible for screening adoption applicants to LUNA Organization. (We are a social media-based nonprofit youth organization dedicated to providing homes for sheltered, stray, and rescued cats and dogs and to raising awareness of animal welfare issues worldwide. We are currently based in the Philippines but shall soon expand overseas.) There is no exact time commitment for this position, but most Screening Officers contribute between 2 and 8 hours per week on average.

We invite animal lovers from all over the world to sign up to be Screening Officers at LUNA Organization. Like all members of LUNA Organization, Screening Officers must be between 13 and 25 years old (although GozAround lists 18 years as the lower limit on age). They must also be good judges of character and able to infer the reliability of an applicant from Google Form responses. It is also preferred that they have experience with screening or admissions as an activity, educational pursuit, career, or other significant context and that they are proficient at reading Filipino (although these are both far from necessary).
