VOLUNTEER PURPOSE
There are several ways to support the Service to the Armed Forces volunteer program. This can be done by:
Becoming a case management volunteer and focus on family follow-up.
Joining our Fresno VA hospital concierge team.
Giving briefings to families and service members about the services Red Cross can provide in emergencies.
TIME REQUIREMENT
Open depending on availability. 5-10 hours a month is preferred.
REQUIRED TRAINING
* Orientation to the American Red Cross
* Specific SAF on-line casework and case management system training
* Specific SAF classroom training regarding practices, policies and procedures
