Do you find yourself spending "too much" time on your phone? Are you looking for that perfect volunteer opportunity that combines helping people and technology? Sounds like Tech Mates might be for you!

Volunteers will learn about iPhone accessibility (VoiceOver & Zoom) and then teach clients how to use these functions along with other helpful apps intended to support those with sight loss. Volunteers in this position provide one-to-one technology training and support; for a person who is blind or partially sighted to increase their confidence and assist them to live the life they choose. Having access to this kind of technology increases opportunities and reduces isolation for those living with sight loss.
