The John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights is an organization that aims to advance a culture of peace and human rights through education and community building guided by the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Strategic Priorities
1. Engaging Children and Youth: Provide education on peace-building and human rights to children and youth.
2. Fostering Adult Learning and Education: Facilitate learning and dialogue within the community on peace and human rights.
3. Building Human Rights Communities: Strengthen capacities and networks to build human rights communities.
4. Operationalizing Human Rights: Support government, businesses and organizations in applying a human rights framework within their operations.


We are currently looking for weekly or bi-weekly volunteers to help with office and administrative work in our west-end office. Duties would include community contact list updating, transcription, general administrative duties, and supporting staff with project research.
